This piece portrays harmony between creatures huddled around a forest table, basking in the warm glow of a left-behind lantern. I wanted to take what would have been a standard whimsical digital illustration and present it in a new way with depth that makes viewers feel as though they have stumbled across this friendly gathering of forest critters. A fun fact about this piece—all materials used for layering and structure (behind the drawing and painted pieces) are recycled!
