You Can Grow, Girl.

I am a freelance writer. This box holds handicrafts I made out of purple heart wood. They are meant to be carried as a tangible reminder that God is always with you and that he heals broken-hearts.  In the summer of 2000 I experienced devastating events that left me in a long dark valley. Even when I couldn’t see and my faith failed, God did not. He can take an acorn and turn it into a mighty oak and he will transform us if we will submit ourselves to him.

The young Mom sent a message to her mentor. “My husband is trying to choke me out financially.” Not long after, the phone rang and the woman wrote down her mentor’s life saving advice.

  • THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!

  • At 9:00am tomorrow call for emergency counseling!

  • Develop a plan!

  • Follow it!

  • You are going to be okay!

  • You are broken-hearted!

  • You’re in the valley!

  • Romans 8:28 promises God will bring good out of this!

  • I want you to get stronger!

  • You can do this!

  • You can grow!

  • You will help a lot of people!
