Sundays at 9:00am
POPKids is the name of the Children's Ministry at Prince of Peace.
What happens at POPKids?
We desire that each child will grow in knowing God, not just knowing about God. Our hope is that they see their story in God’s Big Story, and understand how God has been working all through His-story to bring us back into relationship with Him.
How do I get my kids involved?
All you need to do is show up. The POPKids check-in team welcomes you when you enter the building on Sunday morning and check-in is easy and quick. In no time, your kids will be on their way to their age-specific classrooms. POPKids is open to anyone attending worship at Prince of Peace.

Our youngest students get a big overview of the Bible through lessons that are play-based. The goal for this age group is to get them comfortable coming to POPKids and making new friends while learning that God loves them very much!
The students go through a three-year rotation of Bible stories, with a different focus each year. This year we're looking at what it looks like to live as a disciple of Jesus. Other rotations are “Bible in a Year” and “Life of Jesus.” Building relationships with our friends is also a focus with our large group/small group model of ministry. Kids hear the story together as a big group, and then get a chance to unpack what that looks like in their lives by participating in activities and discussion with their small group.
Third through Fifth Grade
The oldest students follow the same large group/small group model as their younger peers, but they follow the "Big Idea" teachings from the weekend worship services. This gives them the opportunity to have some great discussions at home with parents, as they are both learning the same thing!
