  • Married Diana (at POP.) They have 2 children together.

  • Led a Special Needs Ministry at his previous church.

  • Currently serves POP as a Communion Assistant, LERT Training, and as a P.E.A.C.E. Group Leader.

  • Serves on the Board’s Financial Review Committee.

  • Developer at locally-based global trading firm with over 20 years electronic trading experience.

  • Married to Elizabeth for 18 years with three homeschooled children.

  • Prince of Peace member for two years.

  • Active P.E.A.C.E. Group member.

  • Spends time in personal growth through devotions, Bible reading, theological podcasts, and Christian fellowship.

Derek serves on the Board as the Secretary as well as on the Communications Subcommittee, and is the Board Briefing Coordinator.

Linda Plegge

  • Former administrative assistant and accounts receivable supervisor.

  • Married to Richard for 31 years with one adult son, Matthew.

  • Prince of Peace member for 17 years.

  • Weekend coffee server and team coordinator.

  • Choir member, Worship Host and Team Cheer coordinator.

  • Enjoys study and time with a P.E.A.C.E. Group.

  • Serves on the Board as a member of the Communications Subcommittee and Website Coordinator.

Mary Gail Ford


Mary Gail Ford

  • Business Degree and recently retired from a position as a buyer for a local manufacturer of infrastructure in hospitals.

  • 2 Children and 3 Grandchildren.

  • Prince of Peace member since: 1993.

  • Serves at Prince of Peace as a Small Group Leader and works with IGNITE Jr. High Ministry. A Sunday School teacher for 2 years, and a member of a Women's P.E.A.C.E. Group.

Serves on the Board’s Communications Subcommittee, is the Prayer Coordinator and a member of the Nominating Committee.

  • Spends time in personal growth through daily prayer, attending/serving at church, and working to be a strong Christian example for his family.

  • Married to Nikki for 17 years (a Sunday school teacher at POP) with three children.

  • Pharmacist-trained partner auditing employers’ prescription claims.

  • Married to Joe for almost 35 years with four adult children and two grandchildren.

  • Prince of Peace member for 18 years.

  • Sunday School teacher and youth leader over many years.

  • Active P.E.A.C.E. Group member.

  • Team leader for Funeral Luncheon committee.

  • Bible study, podcasts, and Christian music become inspiration and joy for the soundtrack in her mind.

  • Serves on the Financial Review and Endowment Fund Committees.

Richard (Rick) Schindler


Richard (Rick) Schindler

  • Structural Engineer for McCluskey Engineering.

  • Graduate of Purdue University.

  • Prince of Peace member for 13 years.

  • Sunday school teacher, family P.E.A.C.E. group leader (with wife, Lisa), POPTeens IGNITE leader (2009-11).

  • Spends time in personal growth trough time with family, working to raise respectful, capable, and honest children, and constantly looking to Jesus’ example of leadership.

  • Married to Lisa for 12 years with two children.

Tim Stoub


Tim Stoub

  • Firefighter/paramedic with the Village of Hoffman Estates.

  • Graduate (cum laude) of Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN).

  • Prince of Peace member for six years.

  • Coffee host, active P.E.A.C.E. group member.

  • Spends time in personal growth through daily prayer and devotionals, being involved in P.E.A.C.E. group, and attending weekly Bible study with a friend.

  • Married to Sarah for 13 years (a Sunday school teacher at POP) with two children.

Donna Younger


Donna Younger

  • Retired higher education administrator and faculty member having served at Oakton Community College and DePaul University.

  • Consultant to colleges and universities interested in improving educational opportunities for returning adults.

  • POP member since 2010 and currently serves as a Stephen Minister, a member of the Adult Education Committee, and as a Worship Host.

Donna is the Board’s Vice Chairman, and also serves on the Strategic Focus and Nominating Committees.
